Do Jesus know you! is the question?

Do Jesus know you, is a question most people will answer yes. However, when many of the church folks came to him and told him about all the wonderful works they had done, his reply was depart from you workers of inequity I know you not. 

Jesus went on to say I never knew you: Matt;7-21,23 read it:

• ²¹ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
• ²² Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
• ²³ And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

What many so called Christians don't understand is, if you are not in covenant with God he don't know you. Lets look at a few examples.

Gen;12,1-4 Here God will introduce himself to Abram and gave him some instructions

• 12 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
• ² And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
• ³ And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
• ⁴ So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
