What is the Kingdom of God—a literal or a figurative kingdom? Listen to the word.
The Kingdom of God will be established on earth when Jesus returns. The
time that the Kingdom is established will be after Christ’s return to
earth. Revelation 11:15 states: “Then the seventh angel sounded: And
there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world
have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall
reign forever and ever!’” Jesus told His disciples that when the Kingdom
was established, they would “sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve
tribes of Israel” (
Matthew 19:28,
Dan:7,24-27
24 And
the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and
another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first,
and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And
he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out
the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and
they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the
dividing of time.
26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
27 And
the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom Under the
whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most
High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall
serve and obey him.
1Thes:4,16-17
16 For
the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice
of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ
shall rise first:
17 Then
we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in
the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with
the Lord.
Rev:20,1-6
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And
cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon
him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years
should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And
I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto
them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of
Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand
years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed
and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the
second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of
Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
This is the Kingdom of God: Jesus Kingdom on this earth, The Fathers Kingdom that will come down from heaven will come when all is over.
1cor:15,22-24
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then
cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God,
even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority
and power.
